- "Ave, Cesar" an expensive comedy

- "Brooklyn," or melodrama in the best sense of the word
While the drama has a (not always deserved) respect, so the word melodrama often heralds a dose of kitsch. In the case of the film "Brooklyn" it is entirely unwarranted.
